Who We Are

Independent Christian Church of God (ICCOG) is a small, personal Christian efforts devoted to helping people understand the Bible in its plain and simple meaning.

ICCOG’s preaching goal is focused on one thing:

Explaining the Scriptures as clearly and honestly as possible not handling the words of God deceitfully, 2 Cor. 4:2

ICCOG’s Purpose

The Bible does not need to be rewritten. It needs to be understood as Christ plainly taught.

The purpose of ICCOG is to study Scripture carefully, compare God’s Word with God’s Word, and present biblical teachings without tradition or human control.

We believe:

Truth does not require exaggeration
Scripture does not need manipulation
Faith grows through understanding
God’s Word stands on its own

Many truths in Scripture have been neglected, misunderstood, or overshadowed by tradition. This Christian efforts exists to help bring the focus back to what is written (Matthew 13:19; Colossians 1:26).

Interpret Scripture honestly
Teach without pressure
Encourage personal Bible study
Respect conscience and freedom of belief
The goal is not to control belief —but to illuminate Scripture.
