Use Your Girl Power -Have You Exposed It Now?
Discover the true meaning of Girl Power. Learn how to transition from girlhood to virtuous womanhood using Bible practical wisdom. Strengthen your femininity.
You’ve got a secret power – it is Girl Power. It’s a quiet, shimmering potential tucked right into your heart, and no, it’s not just “sugar and spice.” It’s a raw, world-changing force. Use your Girl Power—but most girls have no idea how to handle it.
From the moment life stops being about dolls and starts being about the mirror, Girl Power steps into a new arena. You’re becoming a woman, and that transition comes with a specialized Girl Power – the “soft strength” that can either build a beautiful future or, if used like Eve or Delilah, bring the whole roof caving down.
Build Girl Power >> Support Family
Imagine being a woman with Girl Power, of such character and culture that you’re more valuable than the rarest jewels. Imagine having the wisdom to lead your family, the intelligence to reshape your world, and a connection with God that makes the “impossible dreams” of your heart actually come true.
It’s time to stop just “growing up” and start preparing for real Girl Power. Let’s dive into how you can harness your femininity, get smart, and exhibit the kind of power that truly lasts.
Exhibit Your Girl Power
You know what? I’ve been thinking lately about how we use the word “power.” We usually associate it with loud things—engines revving, CEOs in suits, or superheroes leveling buildings. But there’s a different kind of power, isn’t there? It’s a quiet, shimmering potential that sits right in the heart of every girl. This is “Girl Power,” and honestly, I doubt most of us realize the sheer wonder of what we’re carrying around.
It’s like that old saying: “Sugar and spice and everything nice.” It sounds cute on a greeting card, sure. But combine that “nice” with the power potential of womanhood, and you’ve got the literal ability to change the future of the world. No joke.

The Shift: When the World Changes Color
There comes a moment for every girl—maybe it’s happened to you already—where life stops being just about dolls, school, and what dress you’re wearing. Suddenly, the boys in your class don’t seem like sticky-fingered monsters anymore. You find yourself looking in the mirror and seeing a woman looking back, even if she’s still a little blurry around the edges.
Your mind and body are maturing because life was meant to reward you. You weren’t just put here to occupy space; you were meant to give meaning to life. But here’s the gritty reality: every girl is going to use that girl power—the power that turning into a woman gives her—for better or for worse. There’s no “neutral” gear here. You’re either building something beautiful or you’re accidentally (or intentionally) tearing things down.
Men Need Help (And We’re the Secret Weapon)
Let’s look at the “Origin Story.” When woman first came on the scene right after Adam, there was zero doubt that the man needed help. Like, a lot of it. There literally could be no future without her. She provided this desperately needed “sweet-sour,” opposite-sameness. The woman was meant to stabilize him, stimulate him, and produce the future—something he could never do by himself.
She had the inherent ability to make life happy, peaceful, and content. To give deep meaning to the word “love.” To make life completely successful. But man, have we seen some women blow it.
Examples of Negative Girl Power
- The Eve Experiment: Eve had the first shot. She and her husband could have ruled the world and brought everlasting peace. But she swallowed a lie, made a rash decision about right and wrong, and the experiment blew up in her face. Maybe she didn’t recognize her influence. She turned it all on, and the roof caved in.
- The Delilah Disaster: Then there’s Delilah. She met Samson—a guy who would make any modern athlete look like a weakling. He was tough, cool, and a Nazarite from birth (Judges 13:5). But his eyes started wandering, and Delilah used her femininity to “help” him all the way down and out.
- The Salome Seduction: Or Herodias and her daughter Salome. Salome danced so well for the king that he offered her half his kingdom—and then loped off a man’s head just to say thanks. That’s power, real and live. She used her Girl Power, her body negatively and her “difference” to end the life of John the Baptist.
The common thread? Eve, Delilah, and Salome used their natural womanly talents as a trap. They made sex their only “stock in trade.” But girls, listen to me: there is far more to a woman than just that.
What Real Femininity Looks Like
Real femininity is a different mental approach. It’s a “soft strength” and “pretty power” that impacts destiny. I’m not suggesting you abandon your influence—never! If you use it rightly, happiness will come flooding into your life. You’ll find your “why.” But being successful at being a woman requires preparation. You’ve got to get smart.
Facing the Facts of Life
Whether we like it or not, we are responsible for ourselves. A girl is known—and judged—by what she does. If you want a future that doesn’t feel like a series of accidents, you have to start building it now.
The world needs reshaping. We see the “Jesus People” and the activists trying to fix things, but many haven’t found the way to get it done. Reshaping the world requires real women. Not just girls—WOMEN! Virtuous, industrious, thinking, educated, truth-oriented, giving, loving women.
God wants you to be a strong, smart, properly aggressive leader. I know “aggressive” sounds scary, but think of it as “purposeful.” Your contribution to the coming “World Tomorrow” is desperately needed. You’re expected to have a commanding role in instructing your children. Look at your own mother—think about the wisdom and integrity required for that job. It’s a challenge of gigantic size.
The “In-Law” Talk
You and your future husband are meant to labor side by side. And God is very clear: He wants daughters just as much as sons (2 Corinthians 6:18).
Imagine the mother of your future husband. You’d want her to warn him about “sex pots,” wouldn’t you? You’d want her to say what’s written in Proverbs 5:
“Listen to me, my son! I know what I am saying; listen! Watch yourself, lest you be indiscreet… For the lips of a prostitute are as sweet as honey… But afterwards only a bitter conscience is left to you… She leads you down to death and hell… Young men, listen to me… Run from her! Don’t go near her house, lest you fall to her temptation and lose your honor… Lest afterwards you groan in anguish and in shame… and you say, ‘Oh, if only I had listened!'” (Proverbs 5:1-14, TLB).
If he listens to that advice, you both stay healthy. You don’t have to worry about your future children being born with diseases or deficiencies. And that is what you, as a woman and mother tomorrow, will eventually teach your own kids.
Education, Culture, and Character For Girl Power
Did you realize that right now, you are creating the minds and character of the children you haven’t even conceived yet? Your interest in learning today will be mirrored in them years from now. The better you educate yourself today, the better off they will be.
Your children are slated to become what you ARE.
This doesn’t necessarily mean a fancy college degree (though education is great). It means knowing how to live and how to make a living. It means having “practical foresight.” A competent woman can take charge of her problems, handle them deftly, and run her home with vision.
The Secret Ingredient: Love God the Most in Girl Power
Do you want to be more wanted than precious jewels? Do you want respect and honor? Then you’ve got to look beyond the physical stuff.
A real woman’s mind reaches into the meaning of life itself and finds God. Remember Martha? She was so wrapped up in the “to-do list” of dinner prep that she missed the whole reason for the dinner in the first place (Luke 10:40-42).
A woman should strive for full womanhood because she sees how her femininity fits into God’s plan. She’s part of His family. The woman who reverences and worships God will have the grace, nobility, and strength of character that makes her completely acceptable to Him.
You Can Do It-You Have Girl Power
When you’re attuned to that bigger purpose, you can surpass the most famous women in history. You just need to use the key God provides: respect and reverence for Him. The Holy Spirit can empower you and make that “impossible dream” of your womanhood come true.
I’ve seen it happen for hundreds of young women. Their dreams became reality because they stopped being “just girls” and started leaning into their power.
You have a date with a beautiful destiny. Use your womanhood to get there.
Part 1- FAQ About Girl Power-True Womanhood
- Is “Girl Power” just about being independent? Not exactly. In the Josie style, true power isn’t about being a “lone wolf.” It’s about understanding your unique role to complement, stabilize, and inspire those around you—especially in a family and spiritual context.
- What does the Bible say about women being leaders? God wants women to be strong, smart, and “properly aggressive” leaders, particularly in the home and in the instruction of children. A virtuous woman’s influence is so vital that it commands the respect of everyone around her.
- Why is education so important for womanhood? Education is the foundation for culture and character. What you learn today creates the “mindset” you will eventually pass down to your children. You’re essentially building the character of your future family right now.
Part 2-FAQ About Girl Power-True Womanhood
- How can I avoid being a “sex trap” like the women in the Bible? It starts by ensuring sex isn’t your only “stock in trade.” By focusing on intelligence, morality, and genuine love for others, you ensure that your femininity is a force for good rather than a tool for manipulation.
- Does being feminine mean I have to be weak? Quite the opposite! Femininity is “pretty power.” It’s a soft strength that requires immense discipline, industriousness, and vigor. It takes more strength to be a virtuous woman than it does to just go with the flow.
- What if I feel like I don’t have this “power” yet? It’s a potential that grows as you grow. By reverencing God and seeking the Holy Spirit, that “mysterious power” begins to work through you, turning your girlish thoughts into womanly wisdom.
- How do I balance housework with “meaningful” life goals? Take a cue from Martha in the Bible. Housework and daily chores are important, but they aren’t the reason for living. When you love God most, those mundane tasks become part of a much bigger, more beautiful plan.
