Global Chaos: Overview of Biblical Roots of Surging Violence

The Global Chaos Report: Unmasking the Biblical Roots of Surging Violence

Global Chaos: A warning and compelling analysis. Discover the frightening biblical prophecies being fulfilled now. Essential reading for every Christian.

Hatred has tragically overwhelmed this planet. We constantly witness global chaos on brutal race riots, fierce political demonstrations, escalating teenage gang conflicts, deadly drug wars, and intense political polarization. We see relentless religious bigotry and shocking intolerance.

Global chaos proliferate even as we boast of an “enlightened” age of science and technology. We must urgently ask: Why is this chaos happening? Furthermore, why is this hostility destined to grow much worse? We need to understand the immediate action every person should take.

Widespread Global Chaos

Decades ago, Elijah Muhammad starkly declared, “Malcolm got what he preached!” This statement followed the brutal assassination of the Black Nationalist leader. It marked another violent death of a public figure, underscoring the deep division.

Everywhere, surging violence runs rampant through our communities. You read about violence with every breakfast, hear reports of it for every lunch, and see its images during every dinner. Nowhere does violence seem more pervasive than in the midst of the greatest nations on earth. Why this terrible spread of hate in a time of supposed progress? This question demands a fundamental explanation.

The Global Disease of Surging Violence

Hate often gathers a larger following than love. Violence will certainly attract more widespread attention than peace. Intrigue always makes a more exciting news headline than harmony. Suspicion captures more interest than confidence in our modern media landscape.

Consequently, these dark themes create successful newspaper copy, compelling television scripts, and popular movie plots. Are these things truly good for society? Not at all; however, these evil attributes and actions draw overwhelming public attention because they deeply resonate with human nature.

The Bible consistently prophesied that worldwide hatred and bigotry would grip the minds of men during this present end time. People today seem tragically prone, more than ever before, to shocking acts of surging violence. This increase is due to a simple fact. Suspicion, hatred, bigotry, and violence have tragically become the steady, normalized diet of much of the world.

The Apostle Paul looked far beyond his own era and clearly portrayed the hostile, venomous attitudes that characterize our societies during this final age.

The Character of Perilous Times: Sign of Global Chaos

  • II Timothy 3:1-3: “But know this, that in the last days perilous times shall come: For men will be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, despisers of good…”

This is a devastating picture painted by prophecy. Men will be profoundly selfish and self-centered as never before. Moreover, they will be lusting, coveting, and envious of the possessions of others. Today, blasphemy is common, a curse ready on the lips of almost everyone, including public figures. They will be fierce, embodying an untamed brutality, actively despisers of true good.

The scales of Lady Justice against a backdrop of law books, often contrasted with the reality of a corrupt justice system that contributes to global chaos, 1 Corinthians 14:33,

Global Chaos in Nation and Family

You constantly read of worldwide chaos and surging violence. You hear of depraved acts: humans tormenting, butchering, bludgeoning, stabbing, and murdering one another. Public figures constantly accuse one another, spreading malice. Husbands and wives openly hate each other, fracturing the family unit. Do not deceive yourself into believing this is no worse than before—it is!

Jesus Christ himself said that this darkness would dramatically increase.

  • Matthew 24:8-10: “All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.”

These frightening prophecies are literally coming true in our age. They are beginning to be fulfilled now, in your own lifetime, escalating the state of Global Chaos.

The Daily Diet that Fuels Surging Violence: Another Global Chaos Contributor

Consider your daily reality for a moment. You live in a world fraught with persistent tensions. It is a world saturated with fear. This is a time of desperate living for many global citizens. There is an insatiable, widespread desire to escape this reality. Most people simply want to forget the frightening complexities of our time, choosing willful ignorance.

Worldly Escape Mechanism On Global Chaos

How do people achieve this desperate escape? They drift off into ready-made fantasies. This includes movie-land madness, television terrorism, paper-backed perversity, and constant newspaper sensationalism. Whether a person is in Scandinavia, Japan, Europe, or South Africa, pleasure seekers gulp down a daily diet of intrigue, suspicion, murder, divorce, robbery, rape, perversion, lust, arson, jealousy, violence, and hatred.

Remember what happens when you are relaxed before your television set or settled down to read your latest novel. Your guard is lowered completely. You want to relax and escape the realities of daily life for a time, seeking to enjoy moments of make-believe. However, the result of this steady, unhealthy diet is tragically evident all around you, contributing to surging violence.

Testimony from Law Enforcement About Global Chaos

Veteran law enforcement officers are openly worried about the terrible increase in seemingly senseless crimes. They cite the terrifying increase in wanton acts of destruction against both persons and property. These acts are increasing by leaps and bounds in communities worldwide.

Officials cite shocking instances of elderly women who were brutally beaten to the ground. This was done by strong young teenage hoodlums. The motive was often the sheer, brute “pleasure” of inflicting a beating on someone helpless before them.

Youth Uncontrolled Vandalism

They cite cases of depraved acts of vandalism. This is especially true against public buildings and schools. Teenage vandals have been known to literally make a shambles out of new, beautiful, modern classroom facilities. Shockingly, they sometimes use human excrement to defile and ruin property, showing profound malice.

A news report once told of park officials finding jagged shards of broken bottles. These were carefully placed in the sand and lightly covered over at the bottom of little children’s slides in public parks. This demonstrates a murderous spirit. Are these just “pranks”? Is this merely juvenile “delinquency”? Or is this the working of an unreasoning, blind, venomous, wanton, willful, depraved, murderous spirit? It is a spirit wanting to cut, maim, butcher, torment, and kill.

Denial of Truth on Global Chaos

Do you personally believe the plain statements of your Creator? Or will you continue to “kid” yourself that this rotten world “isn’t so bad after all”? If you deny the truth, you will go right down with this world. It is hurtling into a cesspool of nightmarish destruction. Almighty God will soon send Jesus Christ back to punish this world of evildoers.

Do not “kid” yourself that this sounds merely “religious.” You will find little comfort in imagining yourself outside of reality when the reality is all around you. These are the facts of our hate-filled society. Hatred, however, is not confined to the teenage heart; it is a disease of the human mind itself, inherent in our very nature.

The Carnal Mind: The Engine of Surging Violence

It is a core, uncomfortable truth: human nature is to hate. God created human beings and placed a certain nature within them, which we call “human nature.” It remains the greatest enigma to philosophers, psychologists, and sociologists today. Man, they often conclude, is still “the biggest question mark.”

One psychiatrist once confessed, “We all became interested in psychiatry because we knew we ourselves had some mental problems!” But God, the Inventor of the human heart, reveals its true, unvarnished nature.

The Heart’s Wickedness

  • Jeremiah 17:9: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?”

The normal, natural, fleshly mind—the mind with which you were bornis desperately wicked. This holds true unless it has been fundamentally changed by the nature of God. The Apostle Paul was inspired to write clearly about this condition.

  • Romans 8:7 : “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.”

The normal, natural, carnal mind of every person resents the things of God. The natural mind is always suspicious. It is envious, lustful, evil, resentful, and hateful. James, the half-brother of Jesus, confirmed this truth about innate human desire.

  • James 4:5: “Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, ‘The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously’?”

Today, you may feel you are basically a “Christian” person, believing Christ was the Messiah. You would certainly not call Christ a guilty evil-doer. But what about those who lived right alongside Jesus Christ? What about those who saw His miracles with their own eyes? What about those who lived in Jerusalem during the time of Christ’s merciless beating?

Violence and Global Scale

What about the hate-filled mob that screamed out their bestiality: “kill him! Crucify him! Butcher him!“? God tells you not to bear them any malice. You are not to hate them. Christ Himself said, from the cross, “Father forgive them, for they do not know what they do!

Do you truly understand the reason they acted as they did? Do you recognize the exact, same identical nature in yourself? It is there, whether you recognize it or not. Many participants in the illegal crucifixion of Christ took their hatred to their graves, holding onto the firm belief they had rid the world of a terrible person. They convinced themselves they were “righteously” angry at Christ. They thought they were punishing some great evil. Today, you know better, but most of them never knew better in their lifetime.

The Predicted Increase in Surging Violence

Jesus predicted that this evil disease of hatred would grow worse and worse, heightening in intensity until blind rage would characterize our time. Paul vividly described the complete degeneracy of the human mind when God is rejected.

  • Romans 1:28-32: “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.”

Predicted Societal Violence

This world is literally filled with human beings who perfectly fit this description. This is simply human nature in the raw, exactly the way it is. Jesus warned His followers about the inevitable conflict they would face.1

  • John 16:33 : “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

He prayed to His Father about His true followers.

  • John 17:14 : “I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.”

The World Rejection of Peaceful Life

Jesus had said earlier that the world would surely reject them.

  • John 15:18-19: “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”

The plain facts of your Bible are clear: hatred will be the experience of anyone who truly repents. It will be the lot of those who diligently strive to live the abundant, joyous life Jesus Christ makes possible.

The Standoff of God’s Truth

Jesus said that His presence intensified the responsibility of others, exposing their moral choices.

  • John 15:22: “If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin.”

The way of life of Christ’s true servants makes others angry. Because it is natural to resent God, it is also natural to resent the way of God—the way of life God reveals in His sacred Word. Today, more than ever before, people allow themselves to be consumed with vicious rage against the truth of God. They hate His true servants, and many hate the wonderful, loving laws of God.

The Best Time To Read More Bible Truths Is Now >>  Living Between Joy and Adversity: Think and Consider

As shocking as it sounds, Jesus delivered a provocative statement regarding the effect of His message.

  • Matthew 10:34: “Do not think that I came to send peace on earth. I did not come to send peace, but a sword.”

Christ Prophecy on Family Division

Jesus was speaking about personal strife, which would come as a direct result of religious persecution, even among the closest of families.

Imagine an enraged, bigoted mate who tries to force the other to give up the precious truth of God’s Word. What if one mate threatened divorce unless Christ’s true practices were completely forsaken? Most people would compromise to “save the home” instead of continuing to obey God.

Split On Moral Commitment

But Jesus spoke of the inevitable painful split caused by moral commitment.

  • Matthew 10:35-37: “For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be those of his own household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.”

Advice on Peace Maintenance

Does this mean Jesus wants homes broken up? Of course not! Christ does not want any bigotry or hatred in human hearts, but He will never compromise one iota with His precious truth! Neither will any person who is truly converted and led by the very Spirit of God. They will stand firm regardless of the pressure.

Christ also instructed through Paul that peace is the constant goal.

  • Romans 12:18: “If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.”

  • Matthew 5:9: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”

Godly Counsel

Paul provided specific counsel for those married to non-believers.

  • I Corinthians 7:12-14: “But to the rest I, not the Lord, say: If any brother has a wife who does not believe, and she is pleased to dwell with him, let him not divorce her. And a woman who has a husband who does not believe, if he is pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.”

 Preserving Peace Even on Persecution

Paul was actively striving to keep homes intact. He was pleading with the Corinthians to avoid religious intolerance and bigotry, urging them to protect the home and keep families together in tolerance, patience, and love.

But, as Christ revealed, the carnal mind just cannot see it God’s way. The human heart is just as antagonistic against God’s precious truth today as ever. Therefore, some few do begin to persecute. Remember, the Christian never does the persecuting; he only patiently receives it. If you are a Christian, Jesus said you shall suffer persecution!

Avoiding the Habits of Surging Violence

Now, examine your own heart and mind. Do you “fly off the handle” easily and become enraged at someone over racial, religious, or political issues? Have you become so angry and consumed with inflamed passion that you would literally resort to violence? Millions of people do this every day. Why?

The answer is simple: it is like a recipe for an evil concoction. Take human nature, sprinkle in a few irritating situations, and add a lot of entertainment pressures—TV violence, intense noise, movie-land make-believe, newspaper sensationalism, and perversity. Stir well—and violence will erupt!

Danger on Confrontational Anger

Solomon wrote about the danger of forcing confrontation and anger.

  • Proverbs 30:33 : “For as the churning of milk produces butter, and wringing the nose produces blood, so the forcing of wrath produces strife.”

Do you snap at your children, argue with your employer, or yell at your spouse? Are you irritated much of the time and impatient in stress and trial? Are you angry at situations that frustrate you? If you are human and lack the Spirit of God, the answer is undoubtedly yes.

Resist Global Chaos on Personal Level

Your mind is what you think. If your steady diet is one of violence, then you could become a violent person very easily. Will you be one who is filled with rage because of your spouse’s religious beliefs? Have you turned brutally violent because of racial prejudices and hatreds? Will you ever persecute someone else for their beliefs?

You may think this is unlikely, but think again! Unless you are changed, unless your very nature has been altered from a violent nature to a peaceful one, you may fall victim to it.

Even Good People Are Influenced By Global Chaos

Law enforcement officers are worried because they see horrible acts of murderous violence being committed more and more by the “average” type person. Crime is not limited to those from underprivileged areas; criminals are often not demented or retarded. Officials shake their heads in disbelief at bestial atrocities committed by the “good” people in society.

People are establishing patterns of violence. They may have witnessed many murders on television and in the movies. They have been feeding their minds on violence in almost every leisure moment. Is it any wonder, when tempers flare, that a person reacts almost automatically according to habit?

If you are not extremely careful what you see, how you think, what you hear, and what you readyou may be establishing the same pattern of violence in your own life!

❓ Frequently Asked Questions On Global Chaos

This section addresses common questions about the causes and consequences of Surging Violence discussed in the article.

1. What is the fundamental cause of the Surging Violence and Global Chaos witnessed today?

The article identifies the fundamental cause as the carnal human nature, which is described in the Bible as being “enmity against God.” This inherent nature is self-centered, lustful, hateful, and antagonistic toward God’s law, leading inevitably to societal aggression and global conflict.

2. How does the media and entertainment industry contribute to Surging Violence?

The media contributes by constantly feeding the public a “daily diet of hate” through television, movies, and literature filled with murder, lust, perversion, and violence. When people consume this content, their guard is down, and they establish habits of violence in their minds, making them more likely to react violently under pressure.

3. What does the Apostle Paul say about the characteristics of people in the last days?

In II Timothy 3:1-3, Paul warns that in the last days, times will be perilous because people will be lovers of themselves, covetous, boasters, proud, fierce, and disobedient, among many other negative traits. This description highlights the deep moral decay that fuels the Surging Violence.

4. Why does the Bible say Christ’s teachings can cause family strife?

Jesus stated, “I did not come to send peace, but a sword” (Matthew 10:34). This does not mean Christ desires broken homes. Rather, His precious truth exposes the hatred and intolerance in the carnal mind of an unbelieving relative, leading to persecution against the one striving to obey God’s way of life.

5. What is the “spirit of murder” that law enforcement officials are concerned about?

Law enforcement officials are worried about the increasing acts of wanton, senseless destruction and violence committed by “average” people. The article describes this as a depraved, murderous spirit that finds pleasure in inflicting harm, often fueled by the violence consumed in popular entertainment.

6. What three steps does the article recommend for an individual to resist the Surging Violence?

To resist the cycle of violence, the article recommends: 1) Cultivating the attitude of “sighing and crying” over the world’s evils (like righteous Lot); 2) Praying for God’s Kingdom to come (Matthew 6:10); and 3) Critically examining and rooting out all media consumption (movies, TV, literature) that feeds a violent or lustful nature.

7. What is the danger of delaying a change in personal nature?

The danger is that the habitual consumption of violence establishes a pattern of violence in one’s life, leading a person to react almost automatically with rage when conflict arises. Failure to change means you will continue to go down with this world into its predicted destruction and Global Chaos.

A Call to Action Against Surging Violence on Global Chaos

So, think about your life. Investigate your habits. Be willing to be honest with yourself. God sternly warns against confusing evil with good.

  • Isaiah 5:20 : “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

Be willing to call things exactly what they are! And then, with the help of Almighty God, root out of your life the hatred, prejudice, bigotry, and murderous violence of this violent world!

God’s Deliverance From Global Chaos

First, cultivate the attitude of God’s righteous servants. These individuals “sighed and cried” because of the horrible atrocities that occurred around them daily. Read in Ezekiel 9 about those who, because of their deep abhorrence of the evils of this modern era, are to be spared from the apocalyptic destruction soon to befall this world.

Read about righteous Lot. He was vexed every single day because of the “filthy conduct of the wicked.”

  • II Peter 2:7-8: “…and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds).”

Develop the attitude Jesus illustrated when He said His true servants would be praying for change.

  • Matthew 6:10: “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

Concentrate on Building Righteous Character Even The World is on Global Chaos

You need to view this world as God views it. Stop taking its evil for granted. God sternly warns us against loving the world.

  • I John 2:15-17 : Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.”

Next, become personally critical about how you spend your leisure moments. You need to become highly selective about the motion pictures you view. You know that most motion pictures today are filled with violence, ghoulish insanity, murder, and vile evil. It is exceedingly difficult to find any truly suitable film.

Always ask yourself this question: “Would Christ watch this?” If you feel Christ would not watch it, then remember you shouldn’t watch it either.

Watch out for Social Media and Free Movie Websites

Internet holds the same reality. It is mostly filled with the same kind of violence. However, social media offers a far greater variety, including educational and instructive programs, fake news  (though much is violence), weather reports, and certain light comedy. Use it wisely and with discretion!

Take a look at social media channel. All you will see is pure trash of all types. Pornographic websites stand out. You know the sex stories, murder mysteries, and demoniacal movies offered free on many free streaming websites are not fit to stuff into any human mind.

Evaluate your hobbies and pastimes. Are you living wholesomely? Or are many of your leisure moments spent polluting your mind with the violence of this violent age? Make the change today to root out the hatred and violence from your life.
