1. What Do You Know of the Church
When we ask, “Where is God’s True Church?“, we first have to admit that most of what we “know” is just tradition passed down like an old, dusty coat. We see a building and call it “church,” but that’s not what the Founder called it.
Jesus made a definitive statement that changed the course of history: “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18).
Notice he said His church. Not a franchise, but a singular, resilient organism. He is the “Word” of God in person, as John 1:1-3 tells us: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made”. If He is the Maker, then His written Word is the only manual we can trust. If we want to find Where is God’s True Church, we have to stop asking men and start asking the Book.
The Massive Petra
Let’s stop falling for the historical marketing and get into the raw facts: Jesus didn’t build His assembly on the back of Peter, a mere petros or “small stone,” but rather on the massive, unshakeable Rock of Himself.
That whole “Peter as the first Pope” narrative was a clever identity theft where power-players hijacked a humble apostle’s name because it sounded just like Pater—the “Father” figurehead of the Mithraism bull-slayer cult that Roman soldiers were obsessed with.
It was a classic bait-and-switch: they traded the eternal, spiritual Rock for a man-made title stolen from Persian pirates to make their new institutional church look legitimate to the Roman masses.
The Foundation: A Massive Rock, Not a Pebble
Let’s clear the air on something that has been twisted for centuries. There’s this idea floating around that Christ built His entire Church on the shoulders of Peter. Now, I love Peter—he was the guy who messed up, got back up, and roared for the truth—but he was not the founder. In the original Greek, Jesus calls Peter petros, which basically means a small stone, like something you’d skip across a pond. But when Jesus talked about the real foundation of the Church, He used the word petra—a massive, unshakeable, mountain-sized Rock.
You see, the Church is not built on a flawed human being; it is built on the Christ. Paul pulls no punches when he describes the household of God as being “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone” (Ephesians 2:20). A cornerstone is what keeps the whole building from leaning into the mud.
And if you think this “Rock” identity was something new, think again. Paul reaches back into history to show us that Jesus has always been the source: “And all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock (Strong’# 4073 ‘petra’) was Christ” (1 Corinthians 10:4).
The Great Identity Theft: the Pater Switch
Now, why does everyone get this so sideways? Honestly, when you look at the history, it smells like a massive, centuries-old bait-and-switch. We’re talking about a gritty backstory that feels more like a crime thriller than a Sunday school lesson. Most of you observe Sunday but that is not the correct day of worship. Who handed that to you?
This deception involves the cult of Mithraism, an old-school Persian religion that got smuggled into Rome by a bunch of roughneck Cilician pirates. These guys had their own religious “head” they called “Pater”—which is just a fancy way of saying “Father.”
The Rebranding of Pater
Later on, some clever, cynical power-players in Rome saw an opportunity. They wanted to make their new, institutionalized brand of religion look legitimate to the Roman masses, so they did a little “rebranding.” They took that pagan title, “Pater,” and mashed it onto the name of Peter the Apostle. They tried to hijack the identity of a humble fisherman to cover up a system that would not know the real Christ if He walked through the front door.
But let’s look at the “Instruction Book” for a second. There is not a single shred of evidence in the Bible that Peter ever even set foot in Rome. It was Paul who was the boots on the ground in Rome, writing letters and facing the fire. The whole story about Peter being the first “Pope” in Rome is a pure invention—a historical tall tale designed to glue a pagan foundation onto a Christian name.
Don’t get played by the marketing strategy. God’s True Church is not anchored to some guy sitting on a throne in Italy. It is anchored to the eternal Rock, Christ, who has been leading His people through the wilderness and the fire since the very beginning. It is time we stop falling for the invention and start following the Architect, the Master Builder, the Rock of the Old Testament.
2. How Do You Become A Member
This is where the “religious club” mentality gets punched in the kidney. You do not “join” this group by signing a card or shaking a preacher’s hand. In the very first record of the church’s life, we see how it actually works: “And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved” (Acts 2:47). God is the one who handles the membership list.
Paul gets even more specific about the “how” in his letter to the Corinthians: “For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit” (1 Corinthians 12:13).
To be “baptized” here means to be immersed, plunged into the very life of God. When God puts His Holy Spirit in you, He is “dunking” you into the Body. That’s how you become a member of God’s True Church. It’s a spiritual birth, covered in the “fluids” of repentance and the Spirit, not a secular registration.
Let’s stop playing around with a light drizzle; a “baptism” by sprinkling or pouring is just a religious fake baptism that misses the whole point of being totally buried and resurrected in a watery grave as the “Instruction Book” actually demands.
And they are baptizing babies who could not even talk of repentance. And children who does not know Acts. 2:38. True repentance? How could even a child could understand it. No. those are fake baptism. There is no receiving of God’s Holy Spirit. This is why millions celebrate Christmas, the false date of Christ’s birth, which was a massive business supported by the CEO, the Adversary. Satan.
3. Christ Began The Work of God
To find Where is God’s True Church, you have to look for the “business” Jesus was involved in. Even as a twelve-year-old, he was already focused. When his parents found him in the temple after three days of frantic searching, he asked: “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” (Luke 2:49).
What was that business? It was the Work of God. Jesus was the Messenger of the Covenant, as Malachi 3:1 foretold. He didn’t come to just hang out; he came to announce the greatest news ever heard.
Mark 1:14-15 says: “Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel'”.
This is the foundation of the Work. He proclaimed the Kingdom, taught His disciples that same message, and set the stage for a worldwide mission that defines God’s True Church.
4. The Commission of The Church
The Church is not a museum for saints; it’s a vehicle for a message. Jesus gave His followers a clear job description, a “Divine Commission.” He said in Mark 16:15: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature”. This wasn’t a suggestion; it was an order.
This commission is why the Church exists. It is here to carry on the “Father’s business.” Matthew 24:14 reminds us of the high stakes: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come”. God’s True Church is the one actively engaged in this witness, shouting the truth of the New Covenant into a world that is desperately lost.
5. What is The Body of Christ
This is where it gets visceral. The Church is called “the body of Christ,” but few people understand the power of that. Jesus said in John 14:10: “The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works”.
Just as God’s Spirit worked through Jesus’ physical body, that same Spirit now works through the “collective body”—the Church.
Jesus warned us: “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). A branch without sap is just a dead stick. God’s True Church is a living organism where the Spirit of the living Christ flows into the branches, producing real results.
6. Who Is The Head of the Church
A body without a head is a tragedy; a body with two heads is a monster. God’s True Church has one Head, and it isn’t a man in a fancy robe. Ephesians 1:22-23 says: “And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all”.
Jesus Christ is the Head. He directs, leads, and inspires. He isn’t a distant historical figure but is the resurrected King who is very much “in charge” today. If a group isn’t taking its orders directly from Him through His Word, it isn’t His body.
7. What Composes God’s True Church
The Church is made of “begotten” children. Just as a physical child is begotten by a father, a Christian is begotten by God. 1 John 3:2 says: “Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is”.
This is what composes the Church—sons and daughters who have received the life-impregnating Spirit of God. Romans 8:14 tells us: “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God”. You can’t put yourself in by “deciding to join.” You have to be begotten by the Father to be part of God’s True Church.
8. Who are the Foundation of God’s True Church
You can’t build something that lasts on a shaky foundation. Paul told the converts in Ephesus: “Now, therefore, you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone” (Ephesians 2:19-20).
The prophets of old and the apostles of the New Testament provide the structural support, but Jesus is the Cornerstone that holds the whole thing together. He is the alignment. Every truth, every doctrine, and every person in God’s True Church must line up with Him.
The cornerstone, in ancient practices, is the first stone set in the construction of the masonry foundation.
Ancient Japanese legends talk about Hitobashira (人柱, “human pillar”), in which maidens were buried alive at the base or near some constructions as a prayer to ensure the buildings against disasters or enemy attacks.
For us Christ offered His blood for us. He is our chief foundation.
9. Is The Church An Organization
This is a point of confusion for many. Some say, “I’m spiritual, not organized.” But look at the Body. Is your body a random pile of organs? No, it’s “fitly framed together.”
Ephesians 4:16 says: “from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love”.
God’s True Church is a spiritual organism, yes, but that organism is organized. It exists for a massive, worldwide purpose, and a “house divided against itself” cannot stand. Christ directs this organization from the top down.
10. God Has Organized His Creation
Everything God touches is organized. Look at the stars, the seasons, or a simple oak tree. Jesus used the vine to show us order. If you aren’t systematically joined to the vine, you’re useless.
The Work of God is about the restoration of God’s Government. A government is, by definition, an organized system. God’s government is always from the top down, with the Father at the head and Christ administering His will. God’s True Church reflects this divine order in its very structure.
11. Church Governance in God’s True Church
Because the Church is the Body of Christ, it must have governance. This isn’t about human power trips; it’s about divine order. Ephesians 2:21-22 describes it: “in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit”.
The Head of the Church puts administrators where He wants them. It’s not a democracy where we vote on the truth. It’s a kingdom where we follow the King. Governance in God’s True Church ensures that “all things be done decently and in order” (1 Corinthians 14:40).
12. Chosen Administrator in God’s True Church
Christ is the one who does the choosing. He gives the “gifts” to the Church in the form of leaders. Ephesians 4:11 says: “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers”.
Why? “For the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12). These administrators are chosen by God to help us reach the “unity of the faith.” They are the joints and ligaments that hold the body together as it grows.
14. Spiritual Acumen
We know that spiritual “smarts” aren’t about IQ; they are about the gifts of the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 tells us: “There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all”.
These gifts are spiritual tools. God gives them “to each one for the profit of all” (1 Corinthians 12:7). Whether it’s wisdom, knowledge, or faith, these are given so the Work can be done effectively. In God’s True Church, we don’t brag about our gifts; we use them to serve the Body.
15. God’s Chose Membership Responsibility
Not everyone is an apostle, and that’s okay. We all have a responsibility. 1 Corinthians 12:18 says: “But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased” .
If you’re a foot, don’t try to be a hand. If you’re “uncomely,” God gives you more “abundant honor.” The point is: “that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another” (1 Corinthians 12:25). Your responsibility in God’s True Church is to occupy your place and do your part with the “tools” God gave you.
16. New Testament Ranks and Offices in God’s True Church
The New Testament shows us a clear rank of service. Under Christ, you had apostles, evangelists, and elders (also called bishops or overseers).
1 Corinthians 12:28 says: “And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues”.
There were also deacons and deaconesses for physical duties. This isn’t about being “better” than someone else; it’s about the “Father’s business.” In God’s True Church, everyone has a rank and a role to ensure the Gospel reaches every creature.
17. Is It Wrong To Register God’s True Church
We live in a world of laws, and God tells us to be subject to the governing authorities (Romans 13:1). While God’s True Church is a spiritual organism, it must function in a physical world.
Incorporating or registering is a legal necessity for a worldwide Work, but the corporation is not the Church. The Church existed before the paperwork and will exist after it.
We use the laws of man to fulfill the laws of God. As the light grows brighter, more and more people are recognizing the voice of the Shepherd and finding their way to where the Work is being done.

The Church of God is found in twelve verses in seven books. This means the Church of God has good beginning and it is complete. The Church of God has been purchased by the blood of Christ (owned by Christ) and it is the pillar and ground of the truth, and its foundation is composed of the prophets, the apostles and Christ as the Chief Cornerstone. All of them Jews. They observed all the commandments of God.
The “Chief Cornerstone” refers to the most vital stone in a building, setting the foundation and alignment. Jesus Christ is the key biblical metaphor symbolizing Him as the essential foundation and the Chief uniting leader of the Church, the Ekklesia.

The kingdom of God is the good news from heaven brought to the earth by Christ, John 12:49; 14:10, 24. A kingdom is composed of leaders, laws, subjects and territories.
The coming kingdom is led by Christ and the saints (Kings of Kings- Christ is the Chief King and the saints are the smaller kings). The laws are written in the Bible. The subjects are the people who are in the Millennium. The territory is the earth, Rev.5:10; 11:15.
Rev. 21:3 “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.”
IV. Keep The True Ten Commandments

Note: The last book of the Old Testament reminded us to remember the laws of Moses which God has commanded him for all of us to obey, Mark 2:27, Gal. 3:28. And Revelation, the last book of the Bible reminds us again of the commandments of God.

Christ, the Prophets, and the Apostles are the original foundation of the true Church of God, with Christ serving as the chief cornerstone that holds the Church together.
These truths are established within the true Church of God not in other churches of men, Mal. 4:4, Ps. 119:172, Rev. 12:17, 14:12, 22:14, Matt. 28:20. The early foundations observed all the commandments of God, it follows that if we are to join the true Church, we must also observe all the commandments.

As stated, the complete obedience to all the commandments of God is non-negotiable, Matt. 28:20.
